About Me:
I attended college at
Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas where I received a
B.S. Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
I did clinical training at Jane Phillips Hospital in
Bartlesville for a year and received a B.S. in Medical
Technology. My first real job was as a Medical Technologist
for Pathology Associates in Bartlesville. As my kids
grew up I spent several years teaching preschool, directing a
preschool and working as an Adjunct Instructor at Frank Phillips
College in Borger, TX. From that experience I
decided that teaching was my "calling". I
obtained my certification to teach in public high schools. I
was employed by the Caney Valley Public School on August 11, 1997
and have continued teaching for twelve years. I am also a
co-sponsor of the National Honor Society. My husband, Ron,
and I live in Ramona and have three grown sons. I have
greatly enjoyed my years at Caney Valley School.
