Local Prep Bowlers Advance to State Finals

Oklahoma High School Bowling saw regional play at Red Apple Bowling Center on Saturday.  13 teams from Bartlesville, Owasso and Tulsa areas competed for the right to advance to the State Championship this Saturday.
Making the cut in the girls division is a new team from Caney Valley.  This is the first year that there has been a girl's team fielded from the Ramona school.  With just one member with previous experience, they knocked off a veteran Booker T. Washington team from Tulsa in 3 straight games to give the school its first bowling title.  Team members are Jasilyn G., Madison B., Kennedy B., Michaela B., and Ashton A.
The State Championship tournament will be this Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. at Andy B's River Lanes in Tulsa.
