2019 High School Academic Tournament Champs!

January 11, 2019

The Caney Valley academic team traveled to Northern Oklahoma College and won the 2019 High School Academic Tournament Saturday, January 9th. It is the first time that the team has won the tournament.

The team finished 5-1 for the day with their one loss to Kremlin-Hillsdale. The Trojans battled back through the losers's bracket to beat Kremlin twice to win the championship.

Dakota Johnson let the scoring with 150 points followed closely by Katy L. with 120, Hunter B. with 80, and Alex T. with 60 points. The team will travel to Preston Saturday, January 12 for the Area tournament.
