Letter from the Middle School Principal 2019
Caney Valley Middle School Staff, Students, and Parents,
I hope you had a great experience this 2018-2019 school year. I am really proud of all of you. Our teachers stepped out of their comfort zone and really tried to engage our students with new activities and technology. Most students really stepped up and became leaders. They started to recognize others poor choices as unacceptable behavior. I also saw tremendous growth in self and school pride that I believe will follow them throughout their educational career. Parents and community really did a great job supporting our staff, your students, and our school. This year was a great year to be a Trojan.

New Information.
Chromebooks: Next year 8th graders will still be 1 to 1 (same as this year). 6th and 7th graders will have class sets, which will stay in the classroom. We will still have Chromebooks in the library that can be checked out. Because of the fact that they will stay in the classroom we have created a new insurance plan that is still pending board approval.
Important dates and times:
August 5th: New student enrollment: 8 am to 12 pm:
August 6th: Schedule pick up and enrollment: 8 am to 12 pm
August 6th: Rookie Camp (for all 6th graders): 1 pm to 3:30
****All lunch bills, Chromebook charges, and library fines must be paid in full to get your schedule or start the 2019 school year.
