I grew up in Southeast Oklahoma on a small farm west of Antlers. I love the great outdoors, kids, animals, gardening and working in my rose beds. I went to High School in Boise City, Oklahoma. I graduated first in my class with great aspirations to earn a ton of money. However, my heart took over and I decided to help shape the youth of America. I attended the Oklahoma Panhandle State University at Goodwell, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. I later attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where I received my Masters in Music Education.
I have taught for 10 years and am proud to say that Caney Valley is my school. I love teaching the students, not only are they gifted and talented, but they are also inspirational and motivational to me. They have given me a new vision for an outstanding music program for the District. |
