Tahlequah Sequoya Academic Meet
Monday the Caney Valley Varsity and Junior Varsity Academic Teams traveled to Coweta to play 4A Tahlequah Sequoya. Both teams finished a perfect 3 - 0. The Varsity Team beat Sequoyah 320-120, 250-140, and 300-60 while the JV won 250-30, 330-60, and 170-40. Carter B led the balanced Varsity attack with 150 followed by Ethan F and Aiden M with 120 points apiece. Ryan S tallied 50 points, and Avery T added 30. The JV was led by McKenna G with 130 followed by Matthew H with 70 and Logan W and Noah R with 50 points apiece. Kennedy V and Jace V finished out the scoring with 10 points apiece.
The Trojans travel to Cascia Hall Thursday and host Districts on Monday, October 10. The Varsity competed on I Want Answers which aired Monday night on RSU television. The show will be able to stream within the next few days at https://rsu.tv/shows/i-
