Caney Valley Intent to Apply for 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant

Caney Valley Public Schools will host an Advisory Committee/Community Partner meeting on April 2nd, 2024, 9:00 am in Room #304 at Caney Valley Elementary School  (or via zoom- for this option email Kacy Medlin for the link) This meeting will be held to discuss Caney Valley Public Schools intent to apply for the 21st CCLC grant and how the community and partners can work together to create a successful afterschool program proposal that will meet the needs of our parents, students and community. 

The Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is now accepting applications for the Title IV, Part B - 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grant (https://sde.ok.gov/21cclc). The 21st CCLC program is a federally funded program dedicated exclusively to out-of-school expanded learning opportunities. Caney Valley Public Schools has been the previous recipient of the grant for 2,  5 year grant cycles for a total of 10 years and plans to apply for funding to continue and expand the programming it provides for Caney Valley Public Schools Pre-K - 5th grade students.
