Description of Proposed Bond Projects voting on 9th day of February 2021:
PROPOSITION NO.1
to acquire technology district-wide $500,000.00
to perform general maintenance repairs and acquire furniture, fixtures, and equipment district-wide $375,000.00
to construct, equip and/or acquire a new HS/MS gymnasium and classrooms/saferoom $4,850,000.00
to construct, equip and/or acquire a new elementary cafetorium $1,700,000.00
to perform and/or acquire renovations at the elementary campus $770,000.00
to perform and/or acquire repairs to include but not be limited to: mortar joints on the 3 story building and water mitigation/drainage at the cafeteria $500,000.00
to construct, renovate, equip and/or acquire locker room facilities at the football, baseball and softball fields $1,215,000.00
to repair and replace roofs $360,000.00
TOTAL: $10,270,000.00
PROPOSITION NO.2
to acquire vehicle(s) for pupil transportation $275,000.00
Description of Unpaid/Unfinished Bonds Previously Approved by Voters of the Jurisdiction:
As of the 9th day of February, 2021, Independent School District No. 18, Washington County, Oklahoma, has 4 General Obligation bond issue(s) outstanding:
$405,000 Building Bonds of 2017, dated July 1, 2017 ($220,000 outstanding in principal as of the 9th day of February, 2021);
$750,000 Building Bonds of 2018, dated July 1, 2018 ($400,000 outstanding in principal as of the 9th day of February, 2021);
$765,000 Building Bonds of 2019, dated July 1, 2019 ($765,000 outstanding in principal as of the 9th day of February, 2021); and
$600,000 Building Bonds of 2020, dated July 1, 2020 ($600,000 outstanding in principal as of the 9th day of February, 2021).
Detailed Description of the Use of Previous Bond Proceeds:
Improvements performed at 401 W. Main St., Ochelata, Oklahoma.
2017 Issue
Construct, equip and furnish the Completion Phase of the Elementary School Site improvements, to include but not be limited to: improving drives and parking areas; and construct, equip, renovate and furnish Phase I of the Old High School to include but not be limited to: roof and roofing fixtures $405,000.00
2018 Issue
Construct, equip, renovate and furnish Phase II of the Old High School to include but not be limited to: replacement of exterior windows and renovations of top two floors $750,000.00
2019 Issue
Construct, equip, renovate and furnish Phase III of the Old High School to include but not be limited to: classrooms and administrative space $765,000.00
2020 Issue
Construct, equip and renovate and furnish the Completion Phase of the Old High School and construct, equip and renovate the Elementary School to include but not be limited to: addition to existing Elementary Classroom building, expanding administration space, adding restrooms and increasing security $600,000.00

PROPOSITION NO. 1
to renovate and/or remodel the show barn $500,000.00
to renovate and/or remodel the agricultural education building $200,000.00
to renovate, repair and/or remodel the high school kitchen $450,000.00
to renovate, repair and/or remodel the administration building bathroom(s) $150,000.00
to renovate, repair and/or remodel the elementary school building $1,000,000.00
to perform improvements at the sports complex $100,000.00
to repair and/or replace HVAC district wide as needed $150,000.00
to acquire and install technology equipment from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $250,000.00
to acquire instructional materials from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $85,000.00
TOTAL: $2,885,000.00
PROPOSITION NO. 2
to acquire vehicle(s) for pupil transportation from the proceeds of bonds maturing within five (5) years from their date $150,000.00
Description of Unpaid/Unfinished Bonds Previously Approved by Voters of the Jurisdiction:
As of the 10th day of February, 2026, Independent School District No. 18, Washington County, Oklahoma, has 2 General Obligation bond issue(s) outstanding:
$1,735,000 Building Bonds of 2023, dated May 1, 2023 ($890,000 outstanding in principal as of the 10th day of February, 2026); and
$1,780,000 Building Bonds of 2025, dated February 1, 2025 ($1,780,000 outstanding in principal as of the 10th day of February, 2026).
The School District has $5,580,000 in unissued building bonds authorized at an election held on the 9th day of February, 2021. These bonds will be used to complete the constructing, equipping and/or acquiring of the HS/MS gymnasium and classrooms/saferoom and the elementary cafetorium, and performing and/or acquiring repairs to the 3 story building and water mitigation/drainage at the cafeteria.

2023 Issue
Improvements acquired and installed at a new High School/Middle School Gymnasium (671 Mike Stith Dr., Ramona, Oklahoma) as follows: general requirements and furniture; Improvements acquired and installed at the football, baseball and softball fields (155 Veterans Blvd, Ramona, Oklahoma) as follows: new locker room facilities; $1,735,000.00
2025 Issue
Improvements acquired and installed at a new High School/Middle School Gymnasium (671 Mike Stith Dr., Ramona, Oklahoma) as follows: concrete; Improvements acquired and installed at the elementary school (401 W. Main St., Ochelata, Oklahoma) as follows: canopy, furniture, fixtures, equipment, STEM equipment, restrooms, wood, drywall, paint, finishes, specialties, and plumbing $1,780,000.00
