Academic Team Hosted Pawhuska Monday for Districts
The Caney Valley High School Academic Team hosted Pawhuska Monday for districts. Since Hominy was unable to come due to a scheduling conflict, the Trojans played Pawhuska twice and beat them 210-60 and 170-60. Leading the scoring for the team were Cameron C. and David C. with 90 points apiece. Rounding out the well-balanced team were Zane C. and Katy L. with 40 points each.
The Trojans will travel to Wagoner Monday for conference play. Regionals for the Trojans is Saturday, November 11, at Chelsea.
