9th grade Academic Team Finishes Fourth at OJABA State
The Caney Valley 9th grade academic team finished 4th at the OJABA State Championship Saturday. After narrowly losing to Rock Creek 180-190, the Trojans beat Kansas 250-190 and Rock Creek 250-190. They lost their final round to Colbert 230-330.
The team was led by Kelli C with 320 points followed by Levi P with 100 and Noah M with 60. Roxy H, Dane S, and Hannah R were invaluable in the victories.
