Academic Team finishes District Runner Up
The Caney Valley Academic team finished 2nd at Districts Monday losing to Ketchum in the first round 180-200 before regrouping and beating Chelsea 310-60 and Pawhuska 270-50. Leading the scoring for the Trojans was Brodie H with 150 points followed by Noah R with 90, Hayden T with 70, Jace Vi with 30, and Kelli C with 20. The Trojans averaged 253.33 points for the evening with Champion Ketchum averaging 186.67 followed by Chelsea with 93.33 and Pawhuska with 80.
The team would like to thank Dr. Cantrell, Sue Flaming, and Walter Ward for being such amazing readers and judges. The Trojans will be back in action Monday October 27 where they travel to Coweta and take on Coweta and Ft. Gibson.
