Froshmore Math and Social Studies Champions!!!
Launch the media gallery 1 playerThe Caney Valley Academic Teams traveled to Chelsea Monday where they won 1st place in the Froshmore Math Tournament, and also 1st place in the Social Studies tournament. The victories qualify the team for the Froshmore State Championship February 28.
The team beat Wyandotte 145-40 and Chelsea 115-50 to win the Math competition. They then defeated Wyandotte 155-25 and Chelsea 135-115 to win the Social Studies tournament.
Leading the scoring for the Trojans was Levi P with 210 points followed by Nick C with 95 points. Dane S scored 30 points. Easton C tallied 20 points, Zayne V added 15 points, and Kenton G finished with 10 points.
